'Top 10 Web Design Mistakes'

Okey Dokey! Today I’ll be discussing a web page I found, which is about the top 10 mistakes web designers make that could potentially ruin their chances in gaining audiences. The web page 'Top 10 Web Design Mistakes ‘explains that to be able to make an 'effective and successful website' presentation is the key to it, as it grabs the attention of the reader/audience. But there are some web designers who create mistakes and here are the top 10:

1. Animation, gimmicks, and FlashThe main effect of using these features will 'drive traffic away from the site'.

2. In-your-face-advertisingPlacing full screen advertisements will annoy the target making them move onto another web page.

3. Navigation nightmares'If users cannot get where they want to go in two clicks' it will be a sure way to lose many viewers.

4. Being UnreachableAlways provide some contact information, for example, number or email, so viewers are able to contact you and might boost some trust.

5. No place for feedback, comments, or questionGenerally, leaving a place for viewers/customers to comment or give feedback lets them know their opinion matters.

6. Cramming and CrowdingToo much text, colours, and graphics can cause the important information out of the viewers/customers sight, which might make them frantic and turn to another source.

7. JargonKeep the basic facts or information on your web page, which will make it simple for the audience.

8. Bad graphics and boring photosThese features will make the web page look unprofessional.

9. Torturing potential customersIf there is some sought of survey or something that customers need to fill out make sure they are able to go back if a mistake has been made instead of them having to start from the beginning.

10. Presenting products or services in only one wayBasically, make sure the customers are able to find a product easily. So for the potential people out there who are going to or will be going to start a web page make sure these 'Top 10 Web Design Mistakes' are not made.
